What are you going to do?
As a cleaning employee in Amsterdam-Westpoort, you ensure that the machines and the work environment at the location remain neat and clean. You work at a large site where many activities take place daily. Therefore, it is important that the machines are properly cleaned and ready for use.
You start every workday at 7:00 AM. You clean various machines and ensure that the workplace is left tidy. You work independently but are part of the team on location. The tasks are practical and straightforward, making this job a good fit for someone who enjoys being active.
For this position as a cleaner, experience with cleaning work is helpful, but not necessary.
About the employer
The client is one of the largest players in the field of postal delivery in the Netherlands and has multiple locations in the Randstad. You will be working at the location in Amsterdam-Westpoort. This location is easily accessible by both car and public transport. As a result, the workplace is easily accessible from Amsterdam, Zaandam, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, and the Schiphol area, among others. Free parking is available on site.
Requirements
- You are available from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 14:00;
- You work carefully and find it important that machines and workplaces are properly clean;
- You can work independently and know how to get things done;
- Experience with cleaning work is a plus, but not a requirement.
What we offer
- An average gross hourly wage of €15.40;
- Between 07:00 and 08:00, you receive 120% of your normal hourly wage, which amounts to approximately €17.99 gross per hour;
- Fixed working hours from 07:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday;
- A work week of approximately 35 hours;
- Travel allowance of €0.22 per kilometer if you live more than 6 kilometers from the work location;
