What are you going to do?
As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for organizing and coordinating national and international transport. You liaise daily with carriers, clients, and internal departments to ensure shipments run smoothly. You schedule transport efficiently, taking into account costs, delivery times, and laws and regulations.
In addition, you monitor the progress of shipments and intervene in the event of delays or discrepancies. You handle transport documentation and maintain contact with customs and logistics partners. As a Freight Forwarder, you actively contribute ideas for improvements in the logistics process and ensure optimal service delivery.
This role as a Freight Forwarder is varied and requires an overview, communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

You will be working for the client, a logistics organization based in the Rotterdam region, easily accessible from Dordrecht, Schiedam, and Spijkenisse, among others. The location is conveniently situated near arterial roads and port-related logistics.

Requirements
- Experience as a Freight Forwarder, Transport Planner, or in a similar logistics role
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Knowledge of transport documentation and international logistics
- Stress-resistant and solution-oriented
- Available full-time (40 hours per week)
