What are you going to do?
As an operational buyer, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process within the client's organization. In this role, you ensure that materials and products are available on time and under the right conditions. You maintain daily contact with suppliers and internal departments and keep track of delivery times, price agreements, and stock levels.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Placing and following up on purchase orders;
- Monitoring delivery times and proactively resolving deviations;
- Maintaining contact with suppliers regarding prices, quality, and availability;
- Identifying bottlenecks within the procurement process and making improvement proposals;
Coordinating with logistics and planning to ensure processes run smoothly.
As an operational buyer / tactical buyer, you work accurately, maintain an overview, and can adapt quickly when circumstances change.
About the employer
You will be working at the client's location in De Zilk, a site easily accessible from Noordwijkerhout, Lisse, and Hillegom, among others. The client operates within an international trading environment and focuses on the efficient organization of goods flows. The team has an informal atmosphere with short lines of communication, where collaboration plays a key role. Due to the continuous growth of the organization, there is a strong focus on improving and optimizing processes. As an operational buyer, this gives you the opportunity to actively contribute ideas and further develop yourself. The location is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Requirements
- Experience as an operational buyer, buyer, or within a supply chain-related function;
- Good command of both the Dutch and English languages;
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude;
- A meticulous working method and good organizational skills;
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €4,000, depending on knowledge and experience;
- A work week of 32 to 40 hours, where you work during regular office hours;
- Travel allowance;
