What are you going to do?
For an international manufacturer within the packaging industry, there is a vacancy available for a Customer Service Officer. In this responsible and versatile role, the Customer Service Officer supports the entire order process of international B2B customers within the EMEA region. The employee acts as the first point of contact for customers and ensures correct, timely and customer-oriented processing of all incoming orders. Deliveries are closely monitored, deviations are reported in good time and solutions are offered where necessary.
The work consists of entering and managing customer orders in the ERP system, maintaining close contact with customers about orders, delivery times and product specifications, and carefully handling complaints and returns. The preparation and checking of export, customs and shipping documents is also part of the job description, as well as maintaining contacts with logistics partners. Internally, there is cooperation with departments such as planning, sales, finance and warehouse to serve the customer as well as possible.
In addition to operational tasks, the Customer Service Officer is also responsible for managing customer data in ERP and CRM systems such as Salesforce. This ensures up-to-date and correct information, which is essential for providing reliable service. In this role, it is important to act proactively, identify opportunities and think along about improving processes and customer satisfaction. Work is done in a professional, international and results-oriented environment in which cooperation, communication and accuracy are central.

Requirements
- MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level
- At least several years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in an international industrial or process environment is an advantage
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (knowledge of an additional language is a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Infor LN) and CRM tools (such as Salesforce)
- Strong communication and customer-oriented skills
- Accuracy, independence and proactivity
- Problem solving skills and flexibility
