What are you going to do?

As an insurance customer advisor, you help customers with questions about their insurance policies and ensure they receive clarity quickly. Thanks to your advice, customers know exactly where they stand and which insurance best suits their situation.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • Answering customer questions via telephone and email;
  • Advising new and existing clients on motorcycle, car, and other non-life insurance;
  • Building and maintaining sustainable customer relationships;
  • Identifying commercial opportunities and applying cross-selling where appropriate;
  • Contributing ideas for improvements in processes and customer satisfaction;
  • Accurately processing administrative tasks and policy changes.

In this role, you combine customer contact with administrative tasks and contribute to a positive customer experience.

About the employer

You will be working for the client, a specialist in motor insurance in the Netherlands and Belgium. With approximately 40 colleagues in the Netherlands and 6 colleagues in Belgium, the organization offers a work environment where professionalism and personal contact go hand in hand. Clients often have a dedicated contact person, ensuring that personal service and long-term client relationships are central.

As a new colleague, you will also have the opportunity to take a trial motorcycle lesson. This allows you to get to know the target group and the world of motorcyclists better, which helps in advising and supporting customers. You will join a committed team where collaboration and customer focus are important.

Requirements

  • You are customer-oriented and enjoy having telephone contact with customers;
  • You possess Wft Basis, Wft Damage Private, and Wft Damage Business, or are willing to obtain these certificates through us within six months;
  • An affinity with engines is a plus;
  • You can convey information clearly and kindly, both verbally and in writing;
  • You have experience with customer contact and advising customers on insurance;
  • You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) upon commencement of employment. The costs for this will be reimbursed by us.

  • A gross monthly salary between €2,600 and €3,500 based on a full-time employment of 40 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience;
