What are you going to do?
For this company's logistics and packaging department, we're looking for an employee who, in addition to operational tasks, can maintain an overview of the work floor. You'll be responsible for supplying and removing materials, preparing pallets, correctly stacking and inspecting goods, and supporting internal movements. You'll also ensure the smooth flow of goods around the packaging line. You'll also occasionally drive a forklift.
In addition to logistical tasks, we expect you to support colleagues in their daily management, for example by allocating work or identifying bottlenecks.
The position is primarily a day shift (7:30 AM–4:30 PM / 8:00 AM–5:00 PM), but flexibility is required. For example, if colleagues are sick or on leave, you can temporarily work a two-shift system (6:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–midnight).

This international family business specializes in the production of private label pet food for dogs and cats. With dozens of production sites across Europe, the company supplies a complete range of dry food, wet food, snacks, and biscuits to customers worldwide. Quality, food safety, and customized solutions are central to their approach. The company is located in Nieuwkoop. Due to the early work hours, it is important that you have your own transportation to commute. If you live in Alphen aan den Rijn, Ter Aar, Uithoorn, or Mijdrecht, for example, the location is easily accessible.
Requirements
- Own transportation to travel to work;
- You are proficient in English. Another language is a plus;
- Flexible attitude;
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system if necessary;
- Ideally, you have a forklift certificate and experience. If you don't have one yet, we can assist you with that.
What we offer
- A starting salary depending on experience that varies between €2,600 and €3,070;
- For work before 6:00 AM and after 8:00 PM you will receive a 25% surcharge;
- If you work in shifts you will receive 13% on top of your salary;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km;
- Vacation days, vacation pay and pension accrual;
- Contract with a view to a permanent position;
