What are you going to do?
- You are the linchpin within the project teams in the Support department (SUP), part of Port Development (PD), and you support the project manager, engineer and project controller.
- You assess purchasing requests for compliance with guidelines and contracts and execute purchasing orders with clear communication to suppliers.
- You take care of the invoicing process and maintain an accurate Digital Project Environment (project file).
- You facilitate project team meetings and contribute to reporting.
- You are a discussion partner for internal departments and provide support in project communication.
- You help organize project-related events.

Apics Flexjobs is looking for a cheerful and energetic Project Assistant for a leading client in Rotterdam. The work location is easily accessible from cities such as Barendrecht, Schiedam and Dordrecht. In the Port Development department, you will work with colleagues on large projects in which safety, innovation and sustainability in the port are central. Within the supporting department Support, cooperation, flexibility and collegiality are very important. You will end up in a close-knit team where people can rely on each other during peak periods or leave.
Requirements
- Experience in a project-based/administrative environment, preferably in construction projects.
- Financial experience; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Secretarial skills such as planning, organizing meetings and taking minutes.
- Experience with SharePoint and Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams).
- Good command of Dutch; English is a plus.
- Accurate, strong communication skills, critical and stress-resistant.
- Solution-oriented, flexible and proactive.
