Technical Support Representative (Italian/English speaking)
Answer technical questions and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues for English-speaking and Italian-speaking clients within an international company.
What are you going to do?
An international player in transport systems is seeking an Italian-speaking Technical Support Engineer. This role focuses on customer support, serving as the technical point of contact for primarily Italian clients in the industrial sector.
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing remote technical support, including analyzing and resolving mechanical issues, configuring transport systems, and brainstorming efficient and customer-focused solutions. You'll work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service to provide high-quality support for technical issues.
You'll also play an advisory role in projects and customer processes. You'll deliver technical presentations and training sessions via Teams or on-site (occasional travel within Europe may be part of the job). You'll also prepare documentation such as technical manuals, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and design proposals. Your technical insight enables you to propose customized solutions and optimize existing systems.
This position is ideal for someone with a mechanical-technical background, strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, who feels at home in an international, technical environment and wants to further develop at the intersection of technology and customer relationship management.

Requirements
- (English & Italian) native level, plus fluent English
- Technical education (preferably at HBO/WO level, e.g. mechanical engineering)
- Experience in technical support, machine or equipment specific advice
- Strong technical insight into mechanical and electrical systems
- Skilled in problem solving and technically sound communication
- Comfortable with digital presentations and technical training materials
