Technical Support Specialist in Hoofddorp (French or Spanish speaking)

What are you going to do?

As a Technical Support Engineer EMEA, you'll provide technical support to customers and colleagues in the EMEA region – in French or Spanish, in addition to English. You'll be the first point of contact via phone, email, and online tools for technical questions, malfunctions, or service requests. Thanks to your analytical skills and customer-focused approach, you'll resolve problems quickly and efficiently. You'll coordinate with engineers and field technicians, actively contribute to improvements, and maintain accurate documentation.

In this international role, you'll collaborate with colleagues from various countries and ensure systems continue to perform optimally. You'll actively contribute to customer satisfaction and service quality.

Please note: for this position it is necessary that you live in the Netherlands and can travel to Hoofddorp daily.

You'll be working for a leading international player in industrial technology, with its European support team based in Hoofddorp. This location is easily accessible from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, and Almere, among other cities. The organization develops smart and innovative solutions for production, transport, and logistics. The support team strongly focuses on collaboration, quality, and customer focus. Due to growth in the EMEA region, there's an opening for a new Technical Support Engineer (also known as a Technical Support Specialist or Technical Support Technician).

Requirements

  • You live in the Netherlands and can travel to Hoofddorp daily;
  • A completed higher vocational education in technology (e.g. Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering);
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical support, service or maintenance;
  • Good command of English and French or Spanish (other languages ​​such as Dutch or Turkish are an advantage);
  • Strong communication skills, analytical and customer-oriented;
  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.

  • Gross monthly salary between €3,900 and €4,400 (based on full-time employment and experience);
  • A full-time employment contract of 40 hours per week;
