What are you going to do?

The International Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in the management of complex logistics processes within the company. This position is responsible for optimizing the supply chain, from procurement to delivery, to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective distribution of goods and materials around the world. The Coordinator works closely with internal departments and external partners to execute the company's logistics strategy, which aims to minimize risks and costs.

Core responsibilities

  • Strategy development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the global logistics strategy, aligned with the company goals.
  • Process Management: Prepare, manage and monitor the shipment of spare parts, consumables and systems. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing logistics risks, including analyzing logistics routes to foresee and avoid potential problems in complex countries.
  • Supplier management: Selecting and managing suppliers and logistics service providers. Negotiating contracts and conditions, evaluating supplier performance and holding annual review meetings.
  • Compliance: Designing, improving and managing export procedures. Ensure compliance with EU export controls and international trade regulations.
  • Stakeholder communication: Regular communication with internal stakeholders, such as department managers and external agencies, including customs authorities and other government bodies.
  • Data management: Manage relevant databases, including HS codes and countries of origin of products.

Requirements

  • Completed HBO or WO education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrable experience with global trade compliance and thorough knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.
