Logistics planner in Amstelveen
What are you going to do?
As a Logistics Planner, you'll ensure that last-mile delivery—from warehouse to customer—runs smoothly and efficiently every day. You'll be the point of contact for multiple hubs in the Netherlands and coordinate daily with logistics partners like PostNL to ensure the smooth running of operations. You'll be involved in planning, monitoring, and adjusting logistics flows, and you'll use data to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements. You'll interact frequently with colleagues, drivers, and external partners, and you'll play a key role in process optimization. This role is also often found as a Last-Mile Planner or Transport Planner.
About the employer
The client operates in a modern and dynamic logistics environment with a focus on last-mile delivery. Your base is Amsterdam/Amstelveen, easily accessible from Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Utrecht, Almere, and Leiden, among other cities. The team collaborates closely with various hubs and logistics partners and has a strong focus on data-driven improvement. The culture is informal, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented. You'll have ample opportunity to contribute to process optimization and innovations in the logistics chain. The work environment offers a combination of office, operations, and collaboration with external parties. You'll work on-site 2–3 days a week.
Requirements
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
- Strong affinity with data and good knowledge of Excel
- Willingness to work on location 2-3 days a week (Amsterdam/Amstelveen)
- Driving license B
- Experience in last mile delivery is a plus, but starters with relevant logistics training are also welcome
