What are you going to do?
As a mail sorter, you are responsible for correctly assigning mail to the correct deliverer, and work with your colleagues to ensure that all mail is sent on time every day.
As a production employee at one of our client's sorting locations, you work closely with your colleagues to sort and bundle the mail. Then you organize these bundles in the correct order and place them in bags for the mail deliverers. Your precision and orderliness are essential, as your work ensures that postal workers can perform their duties correctly and on time.
If you have experience as a warehouse employee, order picker, logistics employee or production employee, this position may suit you well.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in the field of mail delivery in the Netherlands and has many locations in the Randstad. The building you will work in is located in Amsterdam-Westpoort. Because there are no longer many buses and trains running around your working hours, it is important that you live near Amsterdam, Zaandam, Schiphol, Hoofddorp or Haarlem.
Requirements
- There is a week of training time. After this week you can choose which days you want to work. Ideally, you are available (almost) full-time from Monday to Friday. You start at 00:00 and you are done when the work is finished. This is often around 5:00 am;
- Do you want to work fewer hours? This is also possible in the shift from 02:00 to 05:30;
- Because you work a night shift, you receive a shift allowance of 40%;
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You are stress-resistant;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You start with a temporary employment contract
- You speak the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €13.27 per hour. With allowances you earn €18.58 per hour;
- You will receive a travel allowance;
- The possibility to work part-time
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- We contribute to your pension (from age 21);
- Holiday/leave days;
