What are you going to do?

We are looking for an Assistant Logistics Team Leader for our customer in Bleiswijk. Within this position you are an integral part of the team in the distribution center. You feel at home in this modern environment and are proud of your contribution to the success of the company. With your coordinating skills you ensure that all processes run smoothly and that employees perform optimally. By actively participating in daily tasks, you build a strong bond with your team and are able to quickly intervene where necessary. As the team leader's right hand, you are a reliable point of contact, which is essential for the efficient functioning of the distribution center. In short, this role not only offers challenge and responsibility, but also the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Because the distribution center operates 24/7, you will work in a 5-shift system. This of course also involves additional surcharges:

  • Monday to Friday between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM 125% surcharge
  • Monday to Friday between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM 150% surcharge
  • Saturday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM 130% surcharge
  • Saturday between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM and Sundays 150% surcharge
  • Holidays 200% surcharge

The company's location is easily accessible from Rotterdam, The Hague, Zoetermeer, Leiden and Westland. Moreover, there is a bus stop in front of the distribution center, so you can also easily get there by public transport.

Requirements

  • You master the English language, both oral and written. Dutch is an advantage.
  • A diploma at MBO level 3/4 in Logistics is required.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a logistics setting is necessary.
  • Flexibility to accept irregular working hours is a requirement.

What we offer

  • A starting salary around € 3000 per month;
  • We offer a full-time contract with the client itself for 40 hours per week, but you only have to work 37 hours.
  • 24 vacation days per year, based on a 40-hour working week, together with a travel allowance and 8% vacation pay.
