Temporary sorting employee in Amsterdam-Westpoort
What are you going to do?
For a project (starting May 22) of one of our customers, we could really use your help!
Your job as a mail sorter is to make sure that the mail ends up in the mail bag for the right deliverer and, together with your colleagues, you ensure that all mail leaves the door every day. As a production employee, you work at one of the client's sorting locations to sort the mail together with your colleagues. Then you make bundles of the mail and put them in the right order in bags for the mail deliverers. It is important that you are organized and precise, because your work ensures that the mail deliverers can deliver the mail correctly and on time.
If you have ever worked as a warehouse employee, order picker, logistics employee or production employee, this position may be for you.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in the field of mail delivery in the Netherlands and has many locations in the Randstad. The building where you will be working is located in Amsterdam-Westpoort. The company is easily accessible by both car and public transport. So if you live near Amsterdam, Zaandam, Schiphol, Hoofddorp or Haarlem, you can certainly travel to work well.
Requirements
- There is an induction day. This is on Thursday, May 22.
- After this induction day you will be available to work on:
- May: 23, 24, 26, 30 and 31
- June: 2, 5, 6, 7 and 10
- Working hours are from 12:30 to approximately 16:30;
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You are stress resistant;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €14.06 per hour;
- You will receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per km if you live further than 6 kilometers;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- We contribute to your pension (from the age of 21);
- Vacation / leave days;
- You start with a temporary employment contract;
- If you perform well, there is always the option to stay longer
- Free parking.
