What are you going to do?
As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you are the right hand of the Warehouse Manager in the distribution center in Beverwijk. You coordinate daily logistics processes, manage team leaders and ensure efficient division of labor. In addition, you monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and draw up improvement proposals. You work closely with other departments and actively contribute to a safe, neat and structured working environment. In this position, you are partly operationally involved and partly responsible for planning, reporting and process optimization.
About the employer
You will be working at the client's distribution centre in Beverwijk, which is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Haarlem, Heemskerk, IJmuiden, Zaandam and Alkmaar. The distribution centre plays a central role in the supply of shops and e-commerce orders. Modern systems are used and there is plenty of room for development. Requirements
- Minimum MBO-4 work and thinking level, preferably in the logistics direction;
- Experience in a managerial position within a warehouse environment;
- You speak and write good Dutch;
- You are a team player who can switch quickly and is resistant to stress.
