What are you going to do?
As a Transport Planner (Forwarder) you are responsible for the administrative and operational support of the route planning for (air)freight shipments. Your tasks:
- Arranging insurance, customs paperwork, permits and import duties
- Drawing up bills of lading (AWB), packing lists, manifests and certificates of origin
- Coordinating consolidation and groupage of shipments to reduce costs
- Supporting the administration of transport data in the systems
- Ensuring optimal lead times together with the warehouse team
- Contribute to efficient and error-free planning

Our client is an international transport company specialized in air and sea freight, with a location at Schiphol, Noord-Holland. The function is easily accessible from surrounding cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Almere. The company has its own warehouses and trucks, and distinguishes itself by a personal approach and excellent service to its customers.
Requirements
- Completed MBO training or comparable work experience
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics or administrative processes
- Experience with MS Office and transport systems
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Flexible deployment, including evenings, weekends and shifts

- Salary between €2,782 and €4,013 per month
- Full-time employment (7-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment)
