What are you going to do?
As a Morning Team Leader, also known as a morning supervisor or morning shift coordinator, this is your day:
- Daily management of your team of 10–15 employees during the early shift (05:45–14:15)
- Actively participate on the work floor: from order picking to goods receipt and replenishment
- Monitoring safety, efficiency and quality in the distribution center
- First point of contact for operational bottlenecks or incidents
- Taking over tasks from the Assistant Warehouse Manager in case of absence
- Report to the management team on progress and any areas for improvement
About the employer
You work for a large logistics player with a distribution center in Beverwijk, easily accessible from Haarlem, Alkmaar, Zaandam and Amsterdam. The team consists of approximately 130 employees and 8 team leaders. The atmosphere is energetic and collaborative, with plenty of room for growth and development within logistics.
Requirements
- MBO work and thinking level
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
- People-oriented leadership style, with an eye for both process and employees
- Independent, stress-resistant and accurate
- Ready and available to work the early shift (05:45–14:15)
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary between €3,000 – €3,500
- 32–40 hours per week (morning shift from 05:45–14:15)
- Direct contract with the client with the prospect of permanent employment after an annual contract
