Postal sorter morning shift in Amsterdam
What are you going to do?
As a mail sorter, you ensure every piece of mail reaches the correct delivery person. Together with your colleagues, you contribute daily to ensuring all mail leaves the sorting center on time.
You'll work as a production worker at one of the client's sorting locations, where you and your team will process the mail. You'll sort the mail, bundle it, and place it in the correct order in bags for the delivery staff. Your accuracy and clear overview ensure the delivery staff can perform their work efficiently and accurately.
If you have ever worked as a warehouse employee, order picker, logistics employee or production employee, for example, then this position might be for you.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in mail delivery in the Netherlands and has many locations in the Randstad. The building where you will be working is located in Amsterdam-Westpoort. The company is easily accessible by car during these working hours. So if you live in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaandam, or Amstelveen, the location is easily accessible.
Requirements
- You are available from Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- You work accurately and can work independently after the induction period
- You speak Dutch or English
- You are on time and reliable
- You are physically able to do light repetitive work
