What are you going to do?
As an Evening Team Leader, also known as an evening supervisor or evening shift coordinator, this is your day:
- Daily management of your team of 10–15 employees during the early shift (2:45 PM–11:15 PM)
- Actively participate on the work floor: from order picking to goods receipt and replenishment
- Monitoring safety, efficiency and quality in the distribution center
- First point of contact for operational bottlenecks or incidents
- Taking over tasks from the Assistant Warehouse Manager in his/her absence
- Reporting to the management team on progress and any areas for improvement
About the employer
You'll be working for a major logistics company with a distribution center in Beverwijk, easily accessible from Haarlem, Alkmaar, Zaandam, and Amsterdam. The team comprises approximately 130 employees and eight team leaders. The atmosphere is energetic and collaborative, with plenty of room for growth and development within logistics.
Requirements
- MBO work and thinking level
- At least 2 years of management experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
- People-oriented leadership style, with an eye for both process and employees
- Independent, stress-resistant and accurate
- Willing and available to work the early shift (2:45 PM–11:15 PM)
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €3,500
- 32–40 hours per week (evening shift from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM)
- Direct contract with the client with the prospect of permanent employment after a one-year contract
- 25 days of vacation per year
