What are you going to do?
As a platform worker at our client, you'll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and correctly forwarding mail on the sorting center platform. You'll ensure that the roll containers containing mail are loaded and unloaded safely and promptly, ensuring the mail reaches its destination on time. You'll work as part of a team and play a key role in the logistics process.
Your tasks:
- Loading and unloading of roll containers with letter mail
- Checking labels, routes and shipping lists
- Prepare mail for transport on the correct platform
- Ensure a safe and tidy working environment
- Identifying deviations and reporting them to the team leader
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in postal delivery in the Netherlands. For this vacancy, it's important that you live near Oud Gastel, Roosendaal, Etten-Leur, Zutphen, Bergen op Zoom, or Zevenbergen. These locations are easily accessible by car and public transport.
Requirements
- For this part-time position, you are available from Tuesday to Friday . Working hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM , with possible extension in the afternoon.
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You speak Dutch and/or English;
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €16 per hour;
- You will receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per km from 6 km;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- We contribute to your pension (from age 21);
