What are you going to do?
As Assistant Logistics Team Leader (also known as Assistant Logistics Team Leader / ATL) in the distribution center in Bleiswijk:
- You coordinate the team's activities and ensure the logistics process runs smoothly. You are the team leader's right-hand man and take over in his or her absence.
- You keep an overview of progress, assist where necessary and motivate colleagues to achieve the best results together.
- You are flexible and available to work irregular hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, Sundays, and holidays. In some cases, you will work in refrigerated environments (for example, in the fresh produce department).
About the employer
The location is in the modern distribution center in Bleiswijk, which is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Zoetermeer and Rotterdam: a brand new and automated center where you work with modern machines, close to the highway.
Requirements
- Good command of the Dutch and English language
- MBO level 3 or 4, preferably in logistics
- At least 2 years of experience in a logistics position
- Willingness to work irregular hours: evenings, nights, weekends, Sundays and public holidays
- Proactive, assertive work ethic and strong communication skills
What we offer
- Gross salary between €2,800 and €3,000 per month, excluding allowances (up to €3,420 included)
- Allowances: up to 100% extra for working irregular hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- 13 salary periods per year (so you receive payment in 13 pay periods per year)
- We pay for 40 hours per week, you actually only work 37 hours
- 24 days of vacation per year (with a 40-hour workweek) + 8% vacation allowance
- Travel allowance
- 'Not sick' bonus, with a maximum of 120% of your gross weekly salary
- 10% staff discount on groceries, up to €500 per year (paid via salary)
