What are you going to do?
For one of our clients, we're looking for someone to strengthen the Shipping Team in Hoofddorp with fresh ideas and technical knowledge and experience. You're a positive, energetic individual with solid knowledge of packaging, shipping, and forklift operation. You're comfortable shipping in a fast-paced environment with challenging targets. We're also open to opportunities for students who can work in the Shipping department as part of their MBO Logistics studies. This full-time position includes the following responsibilities:
- Keep the assembly area clear of finished tires at all times
- Ensure that all orders are packed in the correct size boxes and securely strapped to pallets to prevent damage during transit.
- For packing accessories in order of date, checking quantities, work order description and work and order instructions
- Ensure all orders are prepared for inspection
- When completing an order, you check your systems for any changes to the order and ensure that the labels are placed on the correct boxes.
- Process orders and ensure instructions and guidelines are followed until they are finally shipped.
- Prepare shipping documents and book EU shipments with carriers
- Arrange labeled boxes for loading for transport

The client is currently located in Hoofddorp, having recently moved to a new warehouse. If you're coming from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Haarlemmermeer, Zaanstad, or Leiden, the company is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Requirements
- A forklift certificate is an advantage
- You speak English
- Product knowledge of Oracle and/or Kewill/Blujay is very useful
- Relevant work experience in a logistics department
- Self-driven, independent and proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to work with others
- Willing to work outside regular working hours if necessary
What we offer
- A starting salary of €15.90 per hour
- On top of your salary, you can also earn bonuses
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
- A full-time position for a longer period of time
- You start with a temporary employment contract, but there is certainly a prospect of permanent employment
