What are you going to do?
We're looking for enthusiastic production workers in Alkmaar through the end of the year. You'll ensure the mail is delivered to the correct delivery person in the mailbag. This means working accurately and collaborating closely with your colleagues to ensure all mail is sent out on time every day.
As a mail preparer, you'll work at one of our client's sorting locations. Together with your team, you'll sort the mail, bundle it, and place it in the correct order in the bags for the mail carriers. Your precision and order ensure that the mail is delivered correctly and on time.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in postal delivery in the Netherlands. The work location is in Alkmaar and is easily accessible from towns like Purmerend and Hoorn. Because the company is less accessible by public transport, it's important that you live nearby or have your own transportation.
Requirements
- Available from Tuesday to Saturday
- Working hours from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Accurate and concentrated work
- Stress-resistant, even in busy times
- Continue until the job is done
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
What we offer
- Salary of €14.40 per hour
- Surcharge of 20% between 6:00 and 8:00 am (€17.28 per hour)
- Average hourly wage of €15.84
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (from 6 km one way)
- Holiday pay and holiday hours
- Pension accrual from age 21
