What are you going to do?
Ensuring that the mail reaches the correct delivery person in the mailbag requires precision and collaboration with your colleagues to ensure that all mail is delivered every day.
As a mail preparer, you'll work at one of PostNL's sorting locations. Together with your colleagues, you'll be responsible for sorting mail. You'll then bundle the mail and place it in the correct order into bags for our mail carriers. It's important that you're organized and precise, as your work ensures our mail carriers can deliver the mail correctly and on time.
Working hours and days: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in postal delivery in the Netherlands. The work location is in Alkmaar and is easily accessible from towns like Purmerend and Hoorn. Because the company is less accessible by public transport, it's important that you live nearby or have your own transportation.
Requirements
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You keep a cool head when things are busy;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
What we offer
- A temporary employment contract with the prospect of permanent employment;
- The salary for this position is €14.4 per hour;
- The travel allowance is €0.23 per km;
- We contribute to your pension (from age 21)
