What are you going to do?
Your job as a mail sorter is to ensure the mail goes to the correct delivery person in the mailbag, and you and your colleagues ensure all mail is sent out every day. As a production worker, you'll work at one of the client's sorting locations, sorting the mail with your colleagues. You'll then bundle the mail and place it in the correct order in bags for the mail carriers. It's important that you're organized and precise, as your work ensures the mail carriers can deliver the mail correctly and on time.
If you've ever worked as a warehouse worker, order picker, logistics employee, or production worker, this position might be right for you. The desired start date is March 9th.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in postal delivery in the Netherlands. For this vacancy, it's important that you live near Alkmaar, Purmerend, or Hoorn. The company isn't easily accessible by public transport, so it's important that you live locally or have your own transportation.
Requirements
- You are available to work from Monday to Thursday;
- Working hours are from 10:30 to approximately 14:30;
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You keep a cool head when things are busy;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €14.71 per hour;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live further than 6 km;
- Holiday pay

- Pension build-up from the age of 21;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
