What are you going to do?
Your job as a mail sorter is to ensure that the mail is delivered to the right delivery person in the correct mail bag. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all mail is delivered on time every day.
As a production worker, you'll work at one of the client's sorting locations. Here, you'll sort the incoming mail together with your colleagues. You'll then bundle the mail and place it in the correct order in the bags for the mail carriers. It's important that you work organized and accurately, as your work ensures the mail carriers can deliver the mail correctly and on time.
If you have previously worked as a warehouse employee, order picker, logistics employee or production employee, for example, then this position may be a good fit for you.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest mail delivery organizations in the Netherlands. For this position, it's important that you live near Alkmaar, Purmerend, or Hoorn. The location is less easily accessible by public transport. Therefore, it's important that you live nearby or have your own transportation to get to the work location.
Requirements
- You are available to work from Tuesday to Saturday;
- Working hours are from 6am to approximately 9.30am;
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You keep a cool head when things are busy;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
A logical order is: first salary, then compensation, and then secondary employment conditions.
- The salary for this position is €14.71 per hour;
- Between 06:00 and 08:00 120% surcharge (€17.65 per hour);
- Your average hourly wage in this position is €16.39;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live further than 6 km;
- Holiday pay;
- Holiday hours;
Pension build-up from the age of 21.
