What are you going to do?
Your task as a mail sorter is to ensure that the mail ends up in the right mailbag with the right deliverer. Together with your colleagues, you ensure daily that all mail leaves the building on time.
As a production worker, you work at one of the client's sorting locations. Here, together with your colleagues, you sort incoming mail. Subsequently, you make bundles of the mail and place them in the correct order in the bags for the mail carriers. It is important that you work in an organized and accurate manner, because your work ensures that the mail carriers can deliver the mail correctly and on time.
If you have previously worked as, for example, a warehouse worker, order picker, logistics employee, or production worker, this position could be a good fit for you.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest postal delivery organizations in the Netherlands. For this position, it is important that you live in the Alkmaar, Purmerend, or Hoorn area. This is because the location is less accessible by public transport. Therefore, it is important that you live nearby or have your own transport to get to the work location.
Requirements
- You are available to work from Tuesday to Saturday;
- The working hours are from 06:00 to approximately 09:30;
- You work neatly and stay focused;
- You keep a cool head when things get busy;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
A logical order is: first salary, then allowances, and subsequently fringe benefits.
- The salary for this position is €14.71 per hour;
- Between 06:00 and 08:00 120% surcharge (€17.65 per hour);
- Your average hourly wage in this position is €16.39;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live further than 6 km;
- Holiday allowance;
- Holiday hours;
Pension accrual from age 21.
