What are you going to do?
As a mail sorter, you ensure that the mail ends up in the correct mailbag with the right deliverer. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that all mail leaves the building on time every day. As a production worker, you work at one of the client's sorting locations, where you sort the mail together. Subsequently, you bundle the mail and place it in the correct order in the bags for the mail deliverers. It is important that you work in a structured and accurate manner, as your work ensures that the mail is delivered correctly and on time. Have you previously worked as a warehouse worker, order picker, logistics employee, or production worker? Then this position might be a good fit for you.
About the employer
The client is one of the largest players in the field of postal delivery in the Netherlands and has multiple locations in the Randstad. The work location for this position is in Amsterdam-Westpoort.
Because you start early, it is important that you can reach the location on time. If you live in the area of Amsterdam, Zaandam, Schiphol, Hoofddorp, or Haarlem, the workplace is easily accessible.
Requirements
- The working hours are between 06:00 and approximately 09:30;
- You work from Tuesday to Saturday;
- You have your own transport;
- You work accurately and remain focused;
- You are punctual and reliable;
- You continue working until the work is fully completed;
- You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €14.71 per hour;
- Between 06:00 and 08:00 you receive a surcharge of 120%;
- The average hourly wage for this position amounts to €16.39;
- You receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live more than 6 kilometers away;
- Your salary is paid every four weeks;
- Pension accrual starts at age 21;
- You accrue vacation and leave days;
- You start with a temporary employment contract;
- If you perform well, there is a possibility to stay longer;
- There is free parking.
