What are you going to do?
As a mail sorter, you ensure that the mail ends up in the correct mailbag with the right deliverer. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that all mail leaves the building on time every day. As a production worker, you work at one of the client's sorting locations, where you sort the mail together. Subsequently, you form bundles and place them in the correct order in the bags for the mail deliverers. It is important that you work accurately and in a structured manner, because your efforts ensure that mail deliverers can deliver shipments correctly and on time. Have you previously worked as a warehouse worker, order picker, logistics employee, or production worker? Then this position might be a good fit for you.
About the employer
The client is one of the largest players in the field of postal delivery in the Netherlands. For this position, it is important that you live in the area of Alkmaar, Purmerend, or Hoorn. The location is less accessible by public transport. Therefore, it is important that you live nearby or have your own transport to be able to reach the workplace easily.
Requirements
- You are available from Monday to Thursday;
- The working hours are between 10:30 and approximately 14:30;
- You work accurately and remain focused;
- You remain calm when it gets busier;
- You continue until the work is fully completed;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €14.71 per hour;
- You receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live further than 6 km;
- Holiday allowance;
- Accrual of vacation hours;
- Pension accrual from age 21;
- Your salary is paid every four weeks.
