What are you going to do?
In this organization, you will be working for a company that develops systems for the food industry. Large components are stored in the warehouse and moved using a forklift. These are not standard pallets, but large products up to 6 meters in length. It is therefore important that you handle these safely and carefully. It is also important that you proceed cautiously during loading and unloading. You may sometimes need to maneuver a few times before you can drive through the dock correctly. In addition to forklift duties, you are also responsible for other warehouse tasks. These are mostly physical activities, such as order picking in the old-fashioned way. Scanners are not used; you work with pick lists and locate the products yourself in the warehouse. You will work a day shift from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. On Fridays, you work until 14:45.
About the employer
Our client is an international technical company based in Moerkapelle. The company develops and builds ripening chambers for fruit such as bananas and avocados. These systems are supplied worldwide to customers in the logistics and food sectors. Various departments collaborate at the Moerkapelle location, including logistics, production, and engineering. It is a practical work environment with a down-to-earth and collegial atmosphere. Because the warehouse is located in a fairly remote area, it is important that you have your own transportation to get to work. If, for example, you come from Zoetermeer, Boskoop, Waddinxveen, or Bleiswijk, the company is easily accessible.
Requirements
- You have good experience operating a forklift, preferably with large products;
- A valid forklift certificate;
- You don't mind doing physical work as well;
- Own transport to get to work;
- You speak good Dutch or English.
What we offer
- Full-time employment;
- You will be classified under the Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement;
- The salary depends on your experience and therefore varies between €2,750 and €3,000 gross per month;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km;
- Holiday pay and holiday hours;
