What are you going to do?
The Control Tower ensures the smooth running of the processes that customers have entrusted to us. These can be processes that we execute in-house, but also processes performed by third parties. Core processes here include managing master data, forecasts, pre-alerts, purchase orders, sales orders, distribution, returns, after-sales, and invoicing. Activities within the Control Tower take place at various levels.
Operational
- Monitoring and, where necessary, intervening in processes on a daily basis
- Solving unexpected problems
- Answering customer questions
Tactical
- Participate in client-initiated meetings and projects related to improvement processes
- Continue analysis of existing processes
- Initiating internal and external improvement processes with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership
About the employer
Our client is a logistics service provider in the telecommunications and technology sector. They work with various types of mobile phones and providers, as well as televisions and CT scanners. The warehouse is new and almost fully automated. The warehouse covers approximately 16,000 m², so there is plenty to do! Requirements
- You are an MBO graduate with 3 to 5 years of work experience or an HBO graduate looking for your first job.
- You have sound knowledge of and about supply chains
- You have extensive knowledge and experience in handling, analyzing, and advising on data, trends, and improvements.
- You are analytically strong and can translate your analyses to different levels to advise on improvement processes.
- You speak and write Dutch and English well
- You are proficient with various Microsoft programs. At least Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An education with a strong process management and/or data analytical component is a plus.
What we offer
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week;
- Salary between €2,800 and €3,200 per month, depending on experience;
- Working days from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30;
- A temporary contract through an employment agency with the prospect of permanent employment;
- Opportunities for advancement, for example to operational manager;
- Travel allowance and a pension scheme.
