What are you going to do?
As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for managing, improving, and further developing the warehouse. In this role, you combine operational leadership with process optimization. You ensure that daily logistics processes run smoothly and manage the operational team.
In addition, you will be involved with:
- Coordinating and optimizing storage, transport, and distribution processes;
- Improving the warehouse layout and storage capacity;
- Developing and implementing efficient work processes;
- Monitoring KPIs and preparing reports;
- Guiding, coaching, and developing team members;
- Maintaining contact with internal departments, suppliers, and transport partners;
- Monitoring safety, quality, and compliance with laws and regulations.
As Warehouse Manager, you report to the Operations Manager and play a key role in the further growth of the warehouse. This position is also of interest to candidates with experience as a Logistics Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
About the employer
We are seeking a candidate for a Warehouse Manager for our client in De Zilk. The location is easily accessible from Hillegom, Lisse, Noordwijk, Haarlem, and Leiden. The client is active in the distribution of international food products within Europe and operates multiple warehouses and sales locations. Logistical processes for a wide range of products are managed daily from De Zilk. A practical, results-oriented approach is central to the organization, where collaboration and respect are important.
Requirements
- Higher professional education working and thinking level, preferably in logistics;
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in warehouse or warehousing operations;
- Demonstrable leadership experience;
- Experience with WMS systems;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

- Salary between €4,400 and €5,000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week;
