What are you going to do?
As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the warehouse and a team of approximately 50 to 55 employees. You ensure that all logistical processes run smoothly and focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Managing the warehouse team and conducting performance and appraisal interviews.
- Bearing responsibility for the quality, safety, and progress of the work.
- Drawing up staff schedules and managing leave and working hours.
- Monitoring and analyzing KPIs and implementing process improvements.
- Oversee the correct administration of inbound, picking, packing, returns, and VAL activities.
- Maintaining contact with customers and ensuring optimal service.
- Collaborate with other departments and actively contribute to improvement projects.
- Responsible for opening and closing the warehouse.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and the management of materials and facilities.
- Participate in monthly MT meetings.
About the employer
The client operates as a logistics service provider in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and technology sectors and is involved in the processing of various products. Examples include medicines, mobile phones, televisions, and CT scanners. The warehouse at this location covers an area of approximately 22,000 m² and is almost fully automated. Requirements
- Experience in a managerial position within logistics or warehousing;
- Experience managing larger teams;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Experience with KPIs and optimizing logistics processes;
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems independently;
- Good command of the English language;
- Focus on quality, safety, and employee development.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €3,900 and €4,500;
- A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;
- A work week of 38.75 hours;
- Fixed working hours from 08:30 to 17:00;
