What are you going to do?
You will be working for a company that develops systems for the food industry. Large components are stored in the warehouse and moved using a forklift. These are not standard pallets, but products up to 6 meters long. Therefore, it is important that you handle them safely and carefully. You also work accurately during loading and unloading. Sometimes you have to make multiple maneuvers to drive through the dock correctly.
In addition to forklift duties, you are responsible for various warehouse tasks. These are primarily physical activities, such as traditional order picking. Scanners are not used. You work with picking lists and locate the products yourself in the warehouse. You work a day shift from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. On Fridays, your workday ends at 14:45.
About the employer
Our client is an international technical company located in Moerkapelle. The company develops and builds ripening chambers for fruit, such as bananas and avocados. These systems are supplied worldwide to clients in the logistics and food sectors. Various departments work closely together at the Moerkapelle location, including logistics, production, and engineering. You will join a practical work environment with a down-to-earth and collegial atmosphere. The warehouse is situated in a remote location. Therefore, it is important that you have your own transportation to get to work. If you live in Zoetermeer, Boskoop, Waddinxveen, or Bleiswijk, for example, the location is easily accessible.
Requirements
- You have experience operating a forklift, preferably transporting large products.
- You are in possession of a valid forklift certificate.
- You have no problem performing physical warehouse duties as well.
- You have your own transportation to get to work.
- You have a good command of the Dutch or English language.
What we offer
- Full-time employment.
- You will be classified according to the Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement.
- Your salary depends on your experience and ranges between €2,750 and €3,000 gross per month.
- A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
