What are you going to do?
Are you a team leader who enjoys working hands-on and is confident? Do you enjoy managing a team, improving processes, and ensuring that thousands of products leave the warehouse on time? Then this position is for you.
As Production Team Leader, you lead a team of 8 to 10 warehouse employees on a daily basis. You ensure that operations run smoothly, monitor quality, and maintain an overview of the entire production line. You are visibly present on the shop floor, direct colleagues where necessary, and pitch in yourself during busy periods.
You monitor the schedule, resolve bottlenecks before they become problems, and ensure that all packages are processed and shipped on time. Additionally, you actively contribute ideas for improvements within the logistics process.
About the employer
Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce organization in Zoetermeer that processes thousands of orders daily for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company sells a wide range of products through various online sales channels. The selection changes regularly, with media such as CDs and DVDs forming an important part of the assortment.
All logistical processes are managed in-house from the modern warehouse. This includes receiving goods, inventory management, order processing, packing, and shipping thousands of packages per day. Due to the high turnover rate of the products, an efficient logistics process is of great importance. A limited inventory is deliberately maintained, ensuring that products are processed quickly and shipped immediately.
An informal and no-nonsense working atmosphere prevails within the organization. Lines of communication are short, decisions are made quickly, and employees are given a great deal of responsibility. Initiative is appreciated, and there is ample room to contribute ideas for improvements within the logistics processes. Together with a close-knit team, you work every day on a smooth-running operation and an optimal customer experience.
Requirements
- You have experience in a managerial position within logistics or production.
- You are a natural leader and know how to manage a team in a positive way.
- You are confident and dare to make decisions.
- You are not afraid to pitch in yourself on the work floor.
- You maintain an overview, work in a structured manner, and set the right priorities.
- You have knowledge of logistics processes, such as inbound, distribution, and forwarding.
- Experience with scanners and a WMS system is a plus.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy taking responsibility.
- You are available full-time, 40 hours per week.
What we offer
- A salary between €3,000 and €3,500 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week.
- Working hours from 09:00 to 17:30.
