What are you going to do?
As a Test Engineer, you work on advanced transmission electron microscopes (TEM) in a high-tech cleanroom environment. You are responsible for testing, adjusting, and validating complex systems before they are shipped to customers. No two days are the same: you combine engineering, precision, and problem-solving skills in a varied role.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Assembling and configuring TEM modules into complete systems.
- Aligning, calibrating, and testing equipment according to technical procedures.
- Performing quality checks and performance verifications.
- Analyzing and resolving technical deviations.
- Recording test results and collaborating with colleagues from production and engineering.
- Working with, among other things, liquid nitrogen, samples, and atomic-level imaging.
About the employer
For this position as a Test Engineer, you will work at the client's location in Eindhoven, easily accessible from Veldhoven, Helmond, Best, Geldrop, and Son en Breugel, among others. The client develops and manufactures high-quality electron microscopes that are used worldwide for scientific research and technological innovations. You will join a technically advanced production environment where quality, collaboration, and development are central. Within the team, there are various product lines, allowing you to work on diverse projects and long-term systems.
Requirements
- MBO 4 or HBO education, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Experience with or interest in testing electrotechnical systems.
- Strong analytical skills and accurate in performing technical work.
- Good command of the English language.
What we offer
- Salary between €20.66 and €30 gross per hour, depending on knowledge and experience.
- Full-time position of 40 hours per week.
- Working hours from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
- An assignment for 12 months with the prospect of further opportunities.
