What are you going to do?
As a Senior Warehouse Assistant, you are responsible for independently executing and coordinating various logistical activities. You participate in the inbound and outbound processes, picking, and rework. In doing so, you ensure that orders are processed accurately and that products are correctly received, checked, packed, and prepared for shipment.
You perform quality checks, process administration, and keep the data in the systems up to date. You also identify and correct operational deviations, such as incorrect labels, missing items, or incorrect allocations. Additionally, you support colleagues in a more junior role by answering operational questions and explaining the work activities.
An important part of your role is monitoring KPIs, including picking accuracy and processing speed. You also assist with inventory checks and cycle counts. Working safely is always paramount in this.
About the employer
You will be working at the client's location in Ridderkerk, an easily accessible location in the Rotterdam region. The work location is easily reachable from places such as Rotterdam, Barendrecht, Dordrecht, Zwijndrecht, and Capelle aan den IJssel. The client has a professional warehouse environment where inbound, picking, rework, and outbound come together daily. You will work with various teams and have contact with the Warehouse Supervisor and other colleagues within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum MBO 3 working and thinking level;
- Demonstrable experience within a warehouse environment;
- Valid Dutch forklift certificate and experience driving a forklift;
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
- Experience with MS365, particularly Excel;
- Able to work accurately, independently, and in a solution-oriented manner.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,100, depending on experience;
- Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00;
