What are you going to do?
As a Production Supervisor in Amstelveen, you ensure that the daily production of thousands of bouquets runs smoothly. You lead a production team of approximately 45 flex workers and oversee planning, quality, and progress on the production lines. You assign people to various tasks, check time records, and liaise with staffing agencies regarding personnel planning and performance.
In addition, you collaborate with the quality team to ensure that the bouquets are produced on time and according to the correct quality standards. You contribute ideas for improvements and new working methods, and help test and implement them in practice. During busy periods, such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas, as Production Supervisor, you take extra responsibility for coordinating the operation. Where necessary, you also support the shipping department or other activities within the warehouse.
About the employer
The client is active in the international flower and gift industry and supplies directly to consumers in various European countries. Thousands of bouquets are produced daily from the warehouse in Amstelveen using proprietary systems and software. Much attention is paid to quality, efficient processes, innovation, and more sustainable ways of working. The location is easily accessible from Amsterdam, Aalsmeer, Uithoorn, Hoofddorp, and Haarlem, among others. Various arrangements are available for commuting, depending on your route.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing a medium-sized team (30+ people) within production, operations, or a similar work environment;
- You live in the area and have your own transport;
- Good command of English and the ability to express yourself well verbally in Polish; Dutch is a plus;
- You work in a structured manner, are digitally skilled, and maintain an overview during busy moments;
- You are flexible when an early start or a later end to the workday is required.

- A salary between €3,000 and €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience;
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week, normally from 08:00 to 17:00;
