What are you going to do?
As a working foreman, you are responsible for a small team of production employees. The team consists of approximately 10-15 employees. Your duties include troubleshooting, administrative tasks, assisting with production activities, and, of course, managing the other production employees. Are you eager to learn, highly motivated, and do you enjoy working with machines? Then this is definitely a good position for you!
About the employer
Our client is located at De Brouwerij Zoeterwoude. This is a technically very high-tech brewery. Total beer production amounts to approximately 10 million hectoliters, of which over 65% is destined for export. This means that De Brouwerij Zoeterwoude produces 40% of the total volume of beer produced for this brand. The department where you will be working is Inbound. This is where all empty crates of beer bottles arrive so that they can be prepared for the new shipment.
Since you will be working in shifts, it is helpful if you have your own transport. If, for example, you come from The Hague, Zoetermeer, Leiden, or Alphen aan den Rijn, Zoeterwoude is certainly easily accessible for you.
Requirements
Because you will also be involved in hands-on work, we expect you to be able to lift heavy weights, as you will be dealing extensively with handling crates. You will also need to check for damaged products, so you must remain vigilant. For this full-time position, it is important that you have a good command of both Dutch and English. Furthermore, it is helpful if you possess the following:
- Affinity for operating machines.
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
- Able to perform administrative tasks.
- Willing to work in 2 shifts
