What are you going to do?
As a morning shift sorter in Amsterdam-Westpoort, you ensure that mail ends up in the right place and is ready for the deliverers. Together with your colleagues, you process various types of mail daily. You sort the mail items, create bundles, and place them in the correct order in bags. This allows the deliverers to start their route well-prepared and on time.
You work accurately and maintain an overview, even when a large amount of mail needs to be processed. The work is light-physical and repetitive. Experience as a mail sorter, production worker, order picker, or warehouse employee is a plus, but not necessary.
As a morning shift sorter, you work during the morning shift from 06:00 to 14:00. For this position, it is important that you are available from Monday to Friday.
About the employer
You will be working for the client, a large organization within the Dutch postal delivery sector with multiple sorting locations in the Randstad. Your work location is in Amsterdam-Westpoort. The location is easily accessible by private transport from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaandam, Amstelveen, and other locations. Since public transport does not run around the start time of the shift, private transport is necessary to arrive at the work location on time.
Requirements
- You are available from Monday to Friday;
- You have your own transport, as public transport does not run around the start time;
- You speak Dutch or English;
- You are physically capable of performing light and repetitive work.
What we offer
- A gross hourly wage of €14.99 to €17.99, depending on the time you work;
- Between 06:00 and 08:00 you earn €17.99 gross per hour;
- From 08:00, you receive €14.99 gross per hour;
- Working hours from 06:00 to 14:00;
- A clear onboarding period in which you learn the duties step by step;
