What are you going to do?
As an Assistant Logistics Team Leader, you will work in a modern and automated distribution center in Bleiswijk. You will work in one of the logistics departments, such as Receiving, Shipping, the Returns Center, or Fresh Produce. You maintain an overview and ensure that all goods are processed on time and in full.
You distribute employees among the tasks and intervene when a department needs extra support. With your energy and enthusiasm, you motivate colleagues and together ensure that the stores receive their products on time. Is the team leader absent? Then you take the lead and are the point of contact for the team.
The distribution center operates virtually 24/7. Therefore, you will work irregular hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Depending on the department, you may work in a refrigerated environment, for example in the Fresh Department.
About the employer
You will be working for a client of Apics Flexjobs in Bleiswijk. Approximately 6,500 pallets containing a wide range of products are processed weekly from the distribution center. You will join a modern, highly automated logistics environment where the focus is on the fast and reliable supply of stores every day. The location in Bleiswijk is easily accessible from Zoetermeer, Rotterdam, and Gouda, among other places.
Requirements
For this position, we are looking for someone who takes responsibility, maintains an overview, and knows how to get colleagues on board in a positive way. Additionally:
- do you have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
- do you have MBO level 3 or 4, preferably in logistics;
- do you have at least 2 years of experience in a logistics role;
- are you flexibly available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays;
- You are proactive, decisive, and have strong communication skills.
What we offer
As an Assistant Logistics Team Leader, you will have a responsible position for 36 to 40 hours per week within a dynamic logistics environment. You can count on:
- a gross salary between €2,900 and €3,500 per month;
- attractive allowances for irregular hours;
- 13 salary payments per year;
- payment for 40 hours while you actually work 37 hours;
- 24 vacation days per year for full-time employment and 8% holiday allowance;
- a good pension scheme;
- 10% discount on groceries, up to a maximum of €500 per calendar year;
- a non-sickness bonus that can amount to a maximum of 2.3% of your gross annual salary;
