What are you going to do?
As Morning Shift Foreman in Bleiswijk, you ensure that the logistics operation gets off to a smooth start every morning. You start at 06:00, distribute the tasks, and manage a team of approximately 5 to 15 colleagues. You maintain an overview, set priorities, and actively work alongside your team on the shop floor.
Your main duties are:
- Distributing daily tasks and managing the team.
- Monitoring planning, quality, and safety.
- Checking orders, registrations, and logistical processes.
- Identifying and resolving deviations and delays.
- Onboarding, guiding, and supporting colleagues.
- Coordinating details with other departments.
- Contributing ideas for improvements in daily operations.

About the employer
You will be working for the client in Bleiswijk, an organization active in the international floriculture sector. From a modern distribution center, indoor and outdoor plants are processed and shipped to retailers in various European countries. The client focuses on quality, sustainability, and the continuous improvement of logistical processes. You will work with colleagues who ensure that orders are processed accurately and on time. The location is easily accessible by private transport from Zoetermeer, Bergschenhoek, Rotterdam, and Gouda, partly due to its convenient location near major arterial roads.
Requirements
- MBO 3 or 4 working and thinking level, preferably in logistics, technology, or supply chain.
- At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or operational environment.
- Experience guiding or managing colleagues.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and experience with scanners and WMS systems.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Own transport and willingness to work occasionally on Saturdays.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €3,575, depending on experience and excluding allowances.
- Fixed working hours from Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 15:00.
- Irregularity allowances, if applicable.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
